Pro>Active Publications is an international publisher dedicated to producing books, CD-ROMs and electronic information to assist working school administrators in their professional and personal lives. The company produces professional books, as well as new fiction and novels centered on K-12 life.

Pro>Active Publications invites proposals for new books and journals from anyone with a professional interest in school administration. Our aim is to create and disseminate ideas that work in administration, instructional leadership, and school management, as well as the evidence that corroborates such claims. We welcome proposals for professional books, textbooks, novels, reference works, and periodicals.

Pro>Active proposals are anonymously refereed by a national network of collaborating field editors active in the education administration professorate.

Pro>Active’s principal in-house editor, Dr. Joseph L. Eckenrode, holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and has over 21 years experience in education publishing. Dr. Eckenrode has produced scores of best-selling professional books and textbooks and is an expert in working with authors to fashion manuscripts that are at once intellectually cogent and appealing to administrators.
